Will this be the Butterfly of SRP? Part 2

Never been too excited for the plan construction of a butterfly shape like building in SRP and I am wondering if we can do better in terms of design and compete with other butterfly shaped building around the world. February 28 is just a few days from now before Filinvest unveil its newest project in SRP, a butterfly shaped high-end (high rise ) residential condominium tower. The first of its kind here in Cebu in terms of architecture wonder.

Though, The Piazza in Citta Di Mare, will soon house an academic institution in SRP, University of the Philippines already started the development for the proposed SRP campus in a 5 hectares lot fronting Il Corso, and on the side is Amalfi Oasis & San Remo Oasis , the two residential clusters of Citta Di Mare. The presence of the country's premier education provider in SRP is another milestone for Cebu City, not just a spot for tourism but also in terms of high standard education. One thing more is that the perspective of the UP SRP is a masterpiece that will truly add to the beauty of SRP, the one that we can be proud of.

A Light, Fire, Water & Laser Show soon in SRP

Have you gone to Singapore? If you do, you are familiar with Songs of the Sea... it's one of the most sought after feature in Sentosa Island, Singapore. It's a wonder of a light, fire, water & laser show leaving its audience in awe.

Soon, few years from now in SRP, this spectacular shows of light will be Cebu's added attraction and will add more reason for locl and foreign tourist to come and visit Cebu. As part of the IL CORSO concept in Citta Di Mare, our very own amphitheater will house this spectacular shows. Given that us, being a Filipino, know in the whole world for being a world class talent, I predict that our shows will be better than this one in Singapore.

Earlier this year, during the meeting held in FILIVNEST Cebu office, it was announced that a new residential - high-end ( high-rise?) condominium will be built in front of the Sugbu Tower in SRP. It was described to be a butterfly shape building with unit having 3 balconies giving a wider view of Cebu City and its coasts, another first of its kind for Cebu. Cant help but wonder how this butterfly shaped building will look like, so i googled it and found one that best describe the building. And I am excited as ever to share this with you.

BigFoot Studios' Quad Shooting Building

If I am not mistaken, the first company to build an infrastructure in SRP, is the BIGFOOT Studios. Set to be the country's first, the Quad Shooting Building will include four Shooting Stages which, at 4,800 square meters in area, will measure 30 x 40 meters with a 10-meter clear height connected in the interior walls and an elephant door access. All Stages will be complete with film production facilities - from the Director's Office and Production Offices, to Star Dressing Rooms and Suites; Wardrobe, Hair and Makeup, Camera and Equipment Rooms; and Craft and Set Shops and electrical provisions.

SRP will be the home of what is to be the first in its kind to offer....CITTA DI MARE is the first Coastal Liessure & Lifestyle Strip in the Country.

SM City Seaside Cebu

Who will not be excited by this new development in Cebu City specially in SRP? SM, aside from FILINVEST will contribute in realizing the potential of SRP. The plan of constructing the before rumor SM Mall of Asia 2 in Cebu has finally began. But instead of Mall of Asia, it was named SM City Seaside which is cool since Filinvest has the CITTA DI MARE project. With a tag line, " City By Sea ", the SM City Seaside almost collaborated with the theme of coastal lifestyle strip that FILINVEST initiated. SM City Seaside cebu is target to be completed on 2nd Quarter of 2013, just in time for the residence of Amalfi Oasis & San Remo Oasis to finally realize the worth of their investment.

The Piazza

The piazza, similar to its Italian counterparts, will have a church, a big water fountain with pool sculptures, and surrounded by street benches.
